The pounding heart of synthetic pop music has raced through the last three decades and is finally set to explode deep within the chest of Bunker Wolf. Horrid Red is the Militant New Wave manifestation of legendary German-Californian punk band Teenage Panzer Korps, and more precisely the core trio of singer Bunker Wolf, multi-instrumentalist and producer Edmund Xavier (also the man behind FWY!), and their close collaborator Clay Ruby (of Burial Hex, etc). 'Celestial Joy' is their first full-length. Bunker Wolf's commanding presence is still the main focus, perfectly striking his rock idol poses and barking his manic poetry which constantly shifts between life-affirming revelry and existential despair. This very unusual release is based on the legendary 1938 radio broadcast of the same name, directed and narrated by future film-maker Orson Welles. We now write 2012 and this is Dutch artist Bas Welling's very own interperation of this cult radio drama, the unpredictable reunion of Neurobit's fantastic weird electro and Mr Welles' simulated news-bulletins whose realism, so legend tells us, panicked part of the American audience into believing the Martian invasion was actually taking place. Debut solo album of Milligram Retreat’s RENEE VAN TRIER, released on the occasion of her exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch in Holland. This first opus is a selection of careful picked pieces that are part of the characters Van Trier has brought to life for her performances. It tells a story about the world around as seen through the eyes of a child. Musically this takes shape in raw electronic pieces with hints of industrial and Neue Deutsche Welle, some Dadaistic improvisations and undefined free sounds. In the early 90's they released a lot of raw trashy dadaistic cassette tapes. This new album is in best minimal electro punk fashion, punchy and effective with the typical baritone voice...
